Job summary

Dexian is seeking a Senior Specialist, Trading Services II to support the implementation of investment strategies across SMA and UMA programs. You will independently execute complex trading, maintain portfolio models, and manage exceptions with investment managers, sponsors, custodians, and internal partners.

You will be responsible for accurate portfolio implementation, operating controls, and delivery of customized managed account solutions at scale while contributing to process improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong understanding of investment products, portfolio implementation, trading operations, and managed account structures.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage complex activities, and meet critical deadlines in a high-volume environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal and external stakeholder groups.
• Demonstrated commitment to operational excellence, risk management, client service, and continuous improvement.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in trading services, investment operations, managed accounts, portfolio administration, asset servicing, or related financial services.
• Experience supporting SMA and UMA programs, portfolio rebalancing, model management, order generation, or managed account trading activities.
• Operational investment management experience.
• Experience with model delivery platforms, SMA trading systems, or similar investment technologies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and generate trading activity across SMA portfolios, including maintenance trading, rebalancing, drift analysis.
• Review allocations, cash, restrictions, and model changes to support accurate portfolio implementation.
• Maintain and reconcile investment manager models to align portfolios with client accounts.
• Coordinate UMA model data delivery, maintenance, and validation for managers, sponsors, and partners.
• Investigate and resolve trade errors, model discrepancies, and account exceptions.
• Monitor trading workflows to ensure adherence to guidelines, sponsor requirements, controls, and SLAs.
• Partner with managers, custodians, and internal teams to resolve trading issues.
• Support onboarding, transitions, and model changes affecting trading.
• Produce and review trading, model management, and exception reports.
• Contribute to process improvements for trading efficiency and data quality.
