Job summary

You will supervise staff, interpret blueprints and codes, and coordinate with contractors to optimize resources and ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus an industry-recognized apprenticeship program.
• Two years journey-level experience in related trades.
• Certified Trades Training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform advanced maintenance, repair, diagnosis, and preventative maintenance of PYT housing facilities.
• Inspect, supervise, and assist staff in the execution of skilled trades tasks.
• Interpret complex blueprints, diagrams and codes to guide work.
• Coordinate work-unit activities and contractors to optimize resources and minimize service disruptions.
• Maintain security and accountability for tools, equipment and materials.
