Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 6+ years of trademark prosecution/maintenance experience in a law firm.
• Paralegal certificate strongly preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
• Advanced knowledge of legal research and investigation skills.
• Ability to prioritize workload, assignments, and client needs.
• Ability to adapt to change and function in a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare applications for trademark and service mark registration.
• Prepare ancillary prosecution and maintenance filings.
• Prepare Trademark Trial and Appeal Board filings and trademark record title update filings.
• Assist with trademark and copyright due diligence.
• Perform online preliminary trademark clearance searches and preparing search guides.
• Prepare applications for copyright registrations.
• Draft correspondence to clients and local counsel related to trademark prosecution, maintenance, and enforcement issues.
• Keeping attorneys apprised of upcoming deadlines and coordinating with attorneys to keep clients updated of same.
• Performing other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
