The role supports attorneys across trademark and copyright portfolios, with a hybrid in-office/remote schedule and location options in major U.S.

cities including Seattle. Requirements include a bachelor's degree and 2–3 years' trademark prosecution/maintenance experience; a paralegal certificate is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 2–3 years of trademark prosecution/maintenance experience in a law firm.
• Paralegal certificate strongly preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
• Advanced knowledge of legal research and investigation skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
• Ability to prioritize workload, assignments, and client needs.
• Ability to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare applications for trademark and service mark registration.
• Prepare ancillary prosecution and maintenance filings.
• Prepare TTAB filings and trademark record title update filings.
• Assist with trademark and copyright due diligence.
• Perform online preliminary trademark clearance searches and prepare search guides.
• Prepare applications for copyright registrations.
• Draft correspondence to clients and local counsel regarding prosecution, maintenance, and enforcement.
• Keep attorneys updated on upcoming deadlines and coordinate with clients.
