The role supports attorneys across trademark and copyright portfolio management, and IP due diligence. The position offers hybrid in-office/remote work and requires flexibility with overtime.

It can reside in multiple U.S. locations including New York, with salary ranges varying by location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2–3 years of trademark prosecution/maintenance experience in a law firm.
• Paralegal certificate strongly preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Advanced knowledge of legal research and investigation skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
• Ability to prioritize workload and client needs.
• Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare applications for trademark and service mark registration.
• Prepare ancillary prosecution and maintenance filings.
• Prepare TTAB filings and record title update filings.
• Assist with trademark and copyright due diligence.
• Perform online preliminary trademark clearance searches and prepare search guides.
• Prepare applications for copyright registrations.
• Draft correspondence to clients and local counsel on prosecution and enforcement issues.
• Keep attorneys apprised of deadlines and coordinate updates to clients.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
