Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a Middle Office Trade Operations Senior Analyst to own the trade lifecycle, ensuring accurate capture, confirmation and settlement in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be a mature self-starter who can operate with minimal supervision and resolve issues quickly.

You will address internal and external audiences professionally, manage cash flows and lifecycle events, and ensure precise P/L attribution with a strong emphasis on ethics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of industry experience in trade operations.
• Strong service mindset and client focus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor trade posting process.
• Monitor trade affirmation process to ensure proper allocation/delivery.
• Identify and resolve transaction discrepancies between client and counterparties.
• Manage cash flows and life cycle events for trades.
• Review corporate actions and dividends to ensure correct P/L attribution.
• Review cash and position reconciliations.
