Job summary

Textron Systems in Hunt Valley, MD is seeking a Sr Manager Import/Export Compliance to lead our global trade compliance program. You will oversee ITAR/ECCN classifications, license management, and audits across multiple defense and aerospace programs.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in import/export compliance, strong knowledge of ITAR/EAR/US Customs regulations, and the ability to communicate with senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in international trade management, international business, MBA or law a plus.
• At least 10 years of experience managing import/export trade compliance, preferably with a major company or customs brokerage; defense/aerospace experience a plus.
• ITAR compliance experience with knowledge of Import/Export Regulations and EAR/ITAR.
• A US Customs Brokers License is a plus.
• Experience in government contracting and international trade compliance; knowledge of FCPA, OFAC, USMCA helpful.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an Empowered Official for export/import compliance.
• Provide proactive export/import compliance guidance to program management, contracts, procurement, and shipping teams.
• Develop operational solutions and manage license applications and related agreements.
