Job summary

BorgWarner is seeking a Trade Compliance & Freight Senior Analyst in Arden, NC to manage freight execution, compliance activities, and cost controls. You will collaborate with PC&L, Engineering, Sales, Purchasing, and external freight forwarders to ensure compliant and cost-efficient operations.

The role emphasizes HTS classifications, C‑TPAT and USMCA support, and timely freight invoicing and reporting to Finance. A Bachelor’s degree and freight experience are required.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in transportation or freight roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management or related field.
• Experience with Customs, duties, tariffs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily freight support to the PC&L teams to ensure material flow.
• Support outbound/inbound freight activities and shipping documentation.
• Advise on INCOTERMS and engineering freight needs.
• Coordinate freight transfers and logistics setup with cross‑functional teams.
• Research and resolve lost or delayed shipments with freight forwarders.
