Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Senior Trade Analyst to ensure imports/exports are declared and shipped compliant with US Customs and Merck Global Trade Compliance standards. This remote role supports a pharmaceutical client through the Kelly FSP division and involves cross-functional collaboration with global teams.

The position requires deep knowledge of US Customs regulations, strong analytical and project management skills, and proficiency in SAP GTS and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; candidates with relevant experience may be considered.
• 8+ trade-related certificates or Customs Broker License for non-degree candidates.
• Proficiency with US Customs regulations and related trade compliance knowledge; experience with SAP GTS is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Partner with government agencies and external stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor junior analysts and provide strategic guidance.
• Execute Merck's (MRL) trade second person review (2PR) program, serving as escalation for 2PR issues.
• Collaborate with the Trade Audit team; support internal import/export audits as needed.
• Assist with US Import Entry work center, including filings and related tasks.
• Support administration of multiple email boxes owned by US Trade Operations.
• Engage with MRL stakeholders through outreach activities.
• Identify opportunities for trade compliance process improvements within GCS and MRL.
