Job summary

STR's Analytics & C2 Division seeks a Senior Tracking Scientist to help develop disruptive tracking and fusion technologies. You will contribute to data analysis, algorithm development, engineering software, and validation/verification for novel domains, and interact with customers.

This role is onsite in the Woburn, MA office. Requirements include a BS/MS/PhD in a relevant field, experience with tracking and estimation theory, C++, Python or MATLAB, and the ability to obtain/maintain a U.S.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in a scientific field with relevant experience.
• Experience with tracking technologies and estimation theory / statistics.
• Experience with C++ programming.
• Ability to design experiments, perform simulations, and test verifications.
• Ability to communicate technical foundations of models and algorithms.
• Ability to work on multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance (U.S. citizenship).
• Active security clearance.
• Experience in intelligence or military‑related mission areas.
• Experience with Git, Linux, Anaconda, Docker.
• Proficiency in Python and/or MATLAB for scientific programming and data visualization (NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Matplotlib).
