Job summary

Fareon is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to own the execution of high-priority programs, spanning manufacturing ramp, design transfer, and software development for patient-facing systems. You will partner with the CPO and lead two parallel streams while building lightweight processes for a small team.

The role includes lab and grant support, with potential to grow into leading the program management function as the company scales, including hiring and developing staff in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, preferably engineering.
• 6–12 years in program or project management in a technical, fast-moving environment (medical devices, hardware, or connected products).
• Hands-on experience maintaining a Design History File through at least one FDA submission; ownership strongly preferred (510(k), De Novo, or PMA).
• Led at least one design transfer to a contract manufacturer operating under ISO 13485.
• Experience coordinating external partners such as contract manufacturers, engineering firms, or software vendors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to distill complex programs for executives.

Responsibilities

• Own Design History File through design transfer and regulatory approvals.
• Lead manufacturing ramp with contract manufacturer, trackers, and timelines.
• Manage software development projects, dashboards, and requirements documentation.
• Support lab and grant programs with planning, budgets, and reporting deadlines.
• Develop project management tools, templates, trackers, and status reporting.
• Mentor and grow program management staff as the team scales.
