Job summary

Anduril Industries, a defense tech company, is hiring a Technical Program Manager for Mathematical Software and Algorithms to lead Battlespace Awareness software development, ensuring alignment with technical, functional, and business requirements.

The role requires a strong background in optimization, estimation, and AI/ML, plus experience managing complex multi‑team programs and ensuring on‑schedule releases. US salary range provided; security clearance is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Extensive project management experience in software development for advanced algorithms.
Understanding of optimization, applied probability, and AI/ML technology.
Experience with teams developing mathematical software (solvers, estimation engines, simulations).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, GitHub.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Ability to manage high-pressure situations and tight deadlines.
Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a detailed project and execution plan for Battlespace Awareness software.
Define objectives and deliverables aligned with program needs.
Coordinate with sub-teams and stakeholders to ensure on-time releases.
Oversee release management, ensure quality standards before deployment.
Communicate status, risks, and milestones to stakeholders through reports and presentations.
Allocate resources and manage risks to avoid bottlenecks and delays.
Foster cross-functional collaboration to meet integration requirements.
