Job summary

Anduril Industries in the United States is seeking a Technical Program Manager, Mathematical Software and Algorithms to oversee the Battlespace Awareness software development, ensuring it meets technical, functional, and business requirements. The role requires strong background in optimization, estimation, and AI/ML, plus experience coordinating multiple sub-teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
Extensive project management experience in software development for advanced algorithms.
Understanding of optimization, applied probability, and AI/ML technology.
Experience with mathematical software, optimization solvers, estimation engines, or related models.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and GitHub; excellent communication.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations and tight deadlines; ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

Lead project leadership and strategy with detailed plans for development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
Maintain understanding of algorithms and interfaces for battle management and threat prediction.
Document technical specs, manuals, and project reports; improve PM processes.
Oversee release planning and execution; ensure quality standards before deployment.
Communicate with stakeholders; provide status, risks, and milestones through reports.
Allocate resources (personnel, software, hardware) and manage risk and cross-functional collaboration.
