Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Manager, Technical Program Management to lead large-scale technical programs across the Global Payment Network. You will partner with engineering leadership to align product strategy with platform capabilities and drive governance, metrics, and cross-functional roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field is required.
• MBA or Master’s degree or higher in a related technical field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience managing technical programs.
• Certifications in PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the operational framework for program execution and roadmap transparency, including dependency mapping, risk escalation pathways, and platform governance routines
• Partner with engineering leaders to influence technical decision-making, ensuring platform scalability, resilience, and long-term maintainability
• Establish program-wide visibility and accountability through metrics, dashboards, and executive communication cadences
• Drive alignment between product strategy and engineering platform capabilities by coordinating across multiple LOB stakeholders
