Job summary

iA is hiring a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead hardware and NPD programs, blending business sense with deep technical acumen. You will steer complex initiatives from design to release, balancing cost, quality, and time-to-market while driving AI-assisted program management.

You will collaborate with software, hardware, security, and design teams, establish KPIs, and champion process improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a technical program/project function with experience partnering with product and engineering teams.
• 5+ years managing projects through execution and engaging with senior executives.
• BA/BS or equivalent experience required.
• Experience managing multiple medium to large projects using scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk management.
• Strong technical acumen with expertise in software development methodologies.
• Experience coordinating release schedules across multiple development teams.
• Ability to build partnerships with stakeholders at various levels, including senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more large-scale technical programs with significant bottom-line impact from conception to launch.
• Drive prioritization of goals aligned with technology, product, and commercialization strategy.
• Coordinate across Software Eng, Hardware Eng, Security/Compliance, Solutions Design, and Support teams.
• Establish program KPIs and report health to management and executives; manage risks.
• Incorporate learnings and optimize processes for efficiency; promote best practices.
• Lead change management and ensure adoption of new processes across teams.
• Prepare for Phase Gate and Go/No-Go decisions with data-driven rationale.
• Influence and build trust with stakeholders to support program objectives.
• Lead cross-functional meetings and workshops that drive results.
• Track and optimize R&D hardware program costs; drive cost optimization opportunities.
• Leverage Copilot and Claude to streamline management tasks and champion AI adoption.
