Job summary

Amazon Senior Technical Program Manager for AWS Ground Station, Aerospace Solutions (AES) drives cross‑functional planning, architecture decisions, and delivery of worldwide Ground Station features across locations with a focus on security, scale, and customer impact.

You'll work with product, program, engineering, hardware, software, and infrastructure teams to manage requirements, risk, scope and schedules, and report status to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience.
• 5+ years of working directly with engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Work across the product, program, engineering, hardware, software, and infrastructure teams to manage requirements, scope, and delivery of worldwide AWS Ground Station features and locations.
• Represent the service architecture and technical needs across Amazon including spectrum licensing.
• Assess risks, anticipate issues, overcome technical obstacles, and make difficult trade-offs while managing cost and schedule to drive deployment goals and meet customer commitments.
