Job summary

Amazon’s Aerospace Solutions team, including AWS Ground Station, is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager in Denver to drive cross-functional delivery of satellite ground station features worldwide. You will coordinate with product, engineering, hardware, and infrastructure teams to align scope, schedule, and risk while balancing cost and schedule commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience.
• 5+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.

Responsibilities

• Work across the product, program, engineering, hardware, software, and infrastructure teams to manage requirements, scope, and delivery of worldwide AWS Ground Station features and locations.
• Represent the service architecture and technical needs across Amazon including spectrum licensing.
• Assess risks, anticipate issues, overcome technical obstacles, and make difficult trade-off decisions while managing cost and schedule to drive deployment goals and meet our customer commitments.
