Job summary

Amazon.com is seeking a Sr. Technical Program Manager for Worldwide Promotions and Events to lead cross-team initiatives that transform how promotions are shown to customers globally.

You will partner with product, engineering, and business teams to define a unified promotions CX roadmap and ensure execution across marketplaces. The role emphasizes strong project management, executive communication, and a customer-facing mindset to unblock critical workstreams and deliver high-visibility

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 7+ years working directly with engineering teams.
• 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams.
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
• 5+ years managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk and critical path.
• Experience coordinating release schedules across cross functional teams.
• Experience defining KPIs/SLAs used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Work across Engineering, Product, Business, Legal, and Finance to capture and translate requirements into an actionable delivery roadmap.
• Lead cross-functional and cross-org projects, dependencies, and risks, and make appropriate tradeoffs weighing value vs time to market.
• Own regular, proactive, and clear communication mechanisms to keep senior leadership and stakeholders informed of program progress, risks, timelines, and high judgement decisions.
• Lead effective and efficient delivery of large, complex customer-facing projects.
