Job summary

Serve Robotics is seeking a Technical Program Manager to oversee planning, execution, and optimization of hardware, software, and deployment initiatives. You will coordinate mechanical, electrical, embedded, systems, manufacturing, and operations teams to ensure smooth hand-offs and efficient delivery of components, robots, and software.

The role emphasizes deep technical understanding, process improvement, and clear communication with senior leaders and engineers across functions.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical, electrical, mechatronics or an equivalent engineering discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in engineering program management or technical program management.
• 3-5 years experience with hardware, systems, or autonomous systems development processes.
• Experience articulating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical partners.
• Strong track record of managing complex cross-functional projects and shipping features in production.
• Experience building relationships with senior leaders and engineers across functions.
• Ability to keep the big picture and provide clear, well-structured communications.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk mitigation for hardware and software projects.
• Lead and coordinate efforts across hardware and software engineering teams, product managers, operations, and stakeholders.
• Gather requirements, align priorities, and communicate project status updates.
• Develop and implement processes that streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
• Help teams set up and execute sprints to prioritize and track work.
• Analyze and update existing processes, identify optimization opportunities.
• Coordinate broad communication to keep teams informed and aligned.
• Create detailed project documentation including specs, roadmaps, plans, and status reports.
