Job summary

Nelson Connects is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager for Ops Tooling & Rider Experience on a 6-month contract in Foster City, CA. You will own two portfolios—Ops Tooling & Efficiency and Rider/Vehicle Experience—driving end-to-end delivery, stakeholder alignment, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, autonomy, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years in engineering or program management.
• Experience delivering operational or operator-facing tooling at scale.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery across both portfolios, including vehicle software releases and enablement work.
• Serve as primary contact for milestone and executive leadership with clear status views.
• Drive execution for workstreams without a dedicated PM and partner with owners.
• Negotiate scope and sequencing with engineering; represent operations needs.
• Surface blockers and drive resolution or escalation promptly.
• Partner with product/engineering during quarterly planning to arbitrate scope.
• Define and track operational efficiency measures for fleet reliability.
• Assess portfolio structure and reshape it where needed.
