Ford in California is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager, Powertrain, to lead development and execution of powertrain electronics, ensure safety and performance, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet milestones. Requires a engineering degree, 5+ years in program management, and experience with drive units (inverter, motor, gearbox).

This is a hybrid onsite role four or more days per week in Long Beach.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or related) or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in program management.
• Experience launching high-volume products.
• Strong technical background in drive units, including inverter, motor, gearbox.
• Experience using Confluence, Jira, Jama, or other PM tools.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and working with suppliers and partners.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development and execution of Powertrain Electronics in Product Development to meet safety and performance requirements.
• Manage technical aspects of the project including design, build, test, and validation.
• Own cross-functional execution and change control.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans with transparent communication.
• Facilitate sourcing activities and cost reduction opportunities with design optimizations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration with other vehicle systems.
• Drive collaboration with manufacturing, purchasing, finance, and supply base.
• Develop and maintain project timelines, volumes, and budgets; provide progress updates to senior management.
• Define and track key performance metrics for the team.
• Work with suppliers to ensure feasibility and timely delivery of components.
