Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Technical Program Manager to drive at-scale electrical product deployments across AWS data centers. You will coordinate engineering, design, qualification, and manufacturing readiness from concept through deployment, and align NPI with manufacturing.

Lead cross-functional programs for LV power distribution, monitor milestones, dependencies, and risk, and communicate status to Sr. Leadership. Travel about 20%+ to facilities and supplier locations.

Qualifications

• Set cadence for engineering teams, drive NPI milestones, and ensure manufacturing readiness.
• Engage with internal and external teams to align requirements, dependencies, and delivery.
• Create detailed program plans with milestones, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Coordinate between teams to manage interdependencies and secure resources.
• Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks; report status to Sr. Management.
• Own the delivery lifecycle from kickoff through deployment and deprecation.
• Work in a high-pressure environment with leadership at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional programs that design, develop, launch, and support LV power distribution, monitoring, and switching products (e.g. UL891) with $1B+ USD annual production, owning the end-to-end schedule, scope, and execution.
• Set the cadence for product engineering and design teams, driving NPI milestones and introduction into at-scale manufacturing facilities, and ensuring manufacturing readiness, qualification, and ramp targets are met.
• Engage with internal and external teams and partners to align program requirements, dependencies, and delivery commitments against rack and DC design roadmaps.
• Build detailed program plans, defining milestones, deliverables, and success criteria across engineering, qualification, and deployment workstreams.
• Coordinate between multiple teams to manage interdependencies, sequence critical path work, and secure the budget and resources required to execute product roadmaps on time.
• Identify, communicate, and mitigate program risks and blockers, and report technical status, trade-offs, and escalations to Sr. Management.
• Own and drive the complete delivery lifecycle from program kickoff through implementation, wide-scale deployment, and eventual deprecation, ensuring quality and operational readiness at each phase.
• Work independently in a high-pressure environment with all levels of leadership and exercise sound judgment where clear guidelines may not exist.
