Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager for the Devices Software and Services (DS2) team in Sunnyvale, CA. You will drive large-scale programs spanning multiple device lines, including Memory Optimization and Peak Readiness, coordinating with engineering, product, and leadership across the organization.

You will influence roadmaps, manage trade-offs, and ensure operational excellence, reliability, and efficiency across hundreds of services powering Kindle, Echo, Fire TV, and Fire

Qualifications

• 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams.
• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams and coordinating release schedules.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-priority, high-visibility goals spanning multiple organizations.
• Drive monthly and quarterly business reviews and provide program updates to leaders 3 levels above.
• Influence organization roadmap priorities and technical direction.
• Represent difficult trade-off decisions and solutions clearly to leaders up to 3 levels above.
• Manage cross-functional and cross-organization communication to keep stakeholders informed and aligned.
• Guide technical direction and decisions to deliver solutions meeting high standards for customer satisfaction, efficiency, stability, scalability, simplicity, and operational excellence.
