Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Quality Systems leader for the Air Dominance and Strike Division in Ohio. You will build and own the quality-to-cost framework that ties defects, root causes, and cost impact to program decisions.

The role emphasizes ownership of COPQ metrics, cross-team accountability across engineering, production, and supply chain, and deep manufacturing process understanding to validate corrective actions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical program management, quality engineering, or quality systems in hardware environments.
• Experience building quality systems and cost-of-quality frameworks from scratch.
• Experience resolving quality issues across engineering, production, and supply chain.
• Technical depth in manufacturing processes to validate corrective actions.
• Experience interfacing with government quality oversight (DCMA or equivalent).
• Comfort with quantitative models to guide quality and cost decisions.
• Familiar with version control, scripting, scalable workflows, and reproducible analysis practices.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Build and own systems connecting incoming quality, defects, root cause, and cost impacts.
• Own cost-of-quality trending, closed-loop resolution rate, and improvement velocity.
• Drive cross-team resolution across quality engineering, production, supply chain, and design.
• Own schedule and financial performance of quality-driven decisions.
• Build KPIs linking quality metrics to program cost, schedule, and delivery.
• Drive qualification decisions with cost and schedule data to prevent bottlenecks.
• Use quantitative models to identify patterns before they become systemic.
• Prepare technical docs, analyses, and briefings for internal teams, customers, and government stakeholders.
• Maintain reproducible analysis pipelines with version control and scalable workflows.
