Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager III for Resource Planning in Cloud Storage, based in Kirkland, WA. You will lead cross-functional efforts to plan requirements, identify risks, and manage schedules, communicating with executives and engineers alike.

The role focuses on delivering a reliable, scalable capacity planning experience for Cloud Flex and related services, with emphasis on 18-month forecasts, cost-aware allocations, and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program management.
• Experience in two of the following areas: demand planning, capacity planning, resource planning or forecasting.
• Experience with prompt engineering, and creating agents to automate workflows, optimize data processes in capacity planning or supply chain environments.

Responsibilities

• Planning and Forecasting are creating 18-month resource forecasts (GCU, RAM, Disk) for organic growth and new launches.
• Ensuring supply meets demand while managing allocations and staying within financial limits.
• Coordinating with services like BigQuery and PD for capacity planning.
• Driving initiatives for a touchless capacity pipeline to reduce toil and improve efficiency.
• Collaborating with service owners, supply chain, and power planning teams to power GCP infrastructure cost-effectively.
