Job summary

Amazon Cloud Management Foundations is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to own enterprise account governance strategy across Amazon. You will define vision for governance policies, account classification, and access controls to scale with Amazon's builders.

Lead cross-organizational programs from concept to launch with engineering, product and security teams. Build alignment with senior leaders and translate ambiguity into structured roadmaps that drive impact at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience.
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
• 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience.
• Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules.
• Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the program strategy for enterprise account governance across Amazon, translating ambiguity into clear roadmaps that teams can execute against.
• Own cross-organizational programs end-to-end, from requirements through delivery, working with engineering, product, and security teams to ship governance capabilities that thousands of builders depend on.
• Build alignment across senior leaders and stakeholders on how account classification, access policies, and guardrails should evolve as Amazon scales.
• Identify gaps in how accounts are described, organized, and governed today. Propose and drive programs that close those gaps while keeping operational burden low for service owners and developers.
• Establish mechanisms for tracking program health, adoption, and outcomes. Use data to inform prioritization and communicate progress to leadership.
• Develop trusted partnerships with technical and non-technical teams across Amazon's businesses, ensuring governance programs reflect the needs of diverse builders operating at different risk profiles.
• Evaluate complex technical and business requirements, surface tradeoffs and risks early, and drive decisions that balance governance rigor with builder velocity.
