Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Principal Technical Program Manager to define a new security engineering team for AWS Global Sales. You will own security and governance frameworks, surface and reduce risk, and partner with AWS security, Legal, and leaders to keep the bar high.

A ground-floor, global role shaping how AGS secures engagements, builds field tooling, and scales security reviews across customers of all sizes.

Qualifications

Experience defining security and governance frameworks for large sales or field organizations.
Strong ability to recruit, train, and calibrate a security reviewer community across a broad program.
Ability to partner with AWS Security, Legal, and business leaders to manage risk at scale.

Responsibilities

Own the field's security and governance frameworks, codifying AWS Security standards into steering docs, skills, MCPs, and agents.
Grow the field's security reviewer community by recruiting, training, and accrediting reviewers and calibrating judgment as threats evolve.
Own field security training in collaboration with security engineers and Field Enablement on delivery.
Measure AGS against AWS-wide security standards and run regular security reviews for leadership with prioritized risk reads.
Partner with the business through post-incident follow-through and close action items with AWS Security leadership.
Own the AGS field's security roadmap, balancing near-term wins with long-term shifts in security posture.
Own the governance mechanism for security exceptions and escalations and maintain documentation.
Travel up to 25% may be required.
