Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Sr. Staff Technical Program Manager (L7) to lead an internal incubator within Corporate Engineering.

You will bridge internal infrastructure and product engineering, guiding a lean team of 3–4 TPMs to build an agentic application platform atop the Databricks platform. You’ll redefine SDLC through GenAI, collaborate with CIO and VP+ stakeholders, and drive high-impact programs across the enterprise to unlock autonomous tools and scalable AI capabilities for thousands of

Qualifications

• 10+ years of TPM experience leading highly complex, company-wide transformations in SaaS/cloud environments.
• Proven people management of lean TPM teams while remaining deeply technical and hands-on.
• Strong architectural and systems fluency for distributed data infra and Scala discussions.
• Experience driving change from third-party procurement to native product building and IT tooling.
• Exceptional executive presence and communication with VP/C-level alignment.
• Data-driven mindset with SQL/Python to map boundaries and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end strategy, execution, and deployment of an internal agentic platform.
• Redesign SDLC to embed GenAI and intelligent automation across workflows.
• Scale cross-functional programs across multiple business units and migrations.
• Define metrics and ROI; drive observability and platform adoption and NPS.
• Mentor and scale a 3–4 TPM team with a focus on distributed systems excellence.
