Job summary

Pinterest is seeking a technical program owner to lead cross-functional initiatives across Shopping and Ads catalog, indexing, and retrieval systems. You will partner with engineering and product teams to drive modernization and ensure reliable, scalable services.

In this role you’ll leverage GenAI to improve decision-making, dashboards, and productivity, while communicating tradeoffs clearly to stakeholders and navigating a fast-moving roadmap.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of TPM/Product Ownership experience leading complex, cross-functional technical programs.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with experience building dashboards and deriving insights.
• Strong collaboration and communication with senior stakeholders in high-visibility settings.
• Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities in a fast-moving roadmap.
• Experience with ads, monetization, or data infrastructure is a plus and a willingness to learn across domains.
• Workflow design and AI fluency, including GenAI and vibe coding.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support programs that scale Pinterest's Shopping and Ads catalog, indexing, and retrieval systems.
• Drive cross-team execution on infrastructure modernization initiatives across compute and storage platforms.
• Build and maintain program dashboards and reporting for engineering and business stakeholders.
• Partner with engineering on reliability and incident-response for revenue-critical systems.
• Communicate tradeoffs and program status clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
