Job summary

DeepMind in Mountain View, CA, is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager for AGI Safety and Alignment to lead complex, multi-disciplinary programs from requirements through delivery. You will partner with research and engineering teams to translate safety theories into practical controls, manage schedules and risks, and communicate trade-offs to executives.

The role focuses on end-to-end delivery across the model lifecycle, coordinating across Gemini, and driving alignment between research

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in program or project management.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across research and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end programs from requirements to delivery across AGI Safety & Alignment.
• Identify risks, track milestones, and clearly communicate status to executives.
• Coordinate with Gemini groups to align plans and timelines.
• Bridge alignment research with production implementations and tooling.
