Job summary

Gradient, a Geosyntec Company, is seeking a Senior Epidemiologist to conduct epidemiology analyses for science-based evaluations with a focus on human health risk. The role supports independent work and cross-disciplinary collaboration, including systematic reviews and regulatory comments, across environmental, dietary, pesticide, and occupational contexts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science (required).
• Advanced degree in epidemiology or related field (preferred).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with systematic reviews and exposure assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects involving occupational health, regulatory comments, and site-specific risk assessments.
• Qualitatively and quantitatively assess exposure and human health risks from chemicals.
• Perform systematic reviews, weight-of-evidence evaluations, hazard assessments, and tables.
• Review literature on epidemiology and exposure sciences, summarize findings.
• Prepare deliverables (reports, memoranda, proposals, agency comments).
• Manage projects and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
