Job summary

ICF is seeking a Senior Toxicologist to join its Health Science Portfolio, leading toxicology projects, hazard assessments, and risk analyses for environmental pollutants. This remote role supports federal agencies and multidisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Ph.D. with 5+ years of experience or a Master's with 10+ years, and brings strong mechanistic toxicology knowledge, experience with NAMs, and a track record of mentorship and regulatory analyses.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in toxicology, pharmacology, environmental science, or related field with 5+ years of experience.
• OR Master’s degree with 10+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Project management and technical leadership on multiple toxicology projects.
• Toxicological report development and synthesis into weight-of-evidence analyses.
• Draft protocols, reports, manuscripts, and proposals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address regulatory questions.
• Toxicology systematic reviews including literature screening and data extraction.
• Supervise, mentor, and train junior- and mid-level staff.
