Job summary

Exponent seeks a Principal Toxicologist to lead projects across litigation support, toxicology evaluations, risk assessment, and risk communication. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and expand the firm’s health sciences practice with data-driven insights.

The role requires a PhD in Toxicology with 8+ years consulting experience, DABT certification preferred, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• PhD in Toxicology or related field required.
• Minimum 8 years of consulting experience in toxicology.
• DABT certification highly preferred.
• Proven track record in business development and client engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects and teams on litigation support, toxicological evaluations, risk assessment, and risk communication.
• Identify and pursue new client engagements and expand relationships with existing clients.
• Guide and develop technical staff to grow into future leaders.
• Manage project planning, resources, and budgets to ensure quality and timeliness.
• Provide high level scientific and strategic advice to internal and external stakeholders.
• Enhance firm visibility via publications, conferences, and expert committees.
