Job summary

Betacom in Kent, WA is seeking a Tower Technician IV who will lead and assist in the construction, installation, and maintenance of communications towers and related equipment. You will climb tall structures, work in varying weather, and enforce safety standards to complete projects on time.

You will troubleshoot RF systems, align GPS antennas, and install antennas, RRHs, and related hardware. Strong communication and a proactive safety mindset are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 3–4 years industry experience.
• Excellent communication, reading and writing skills; strong computer literacy and MS Office.
• Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license; willingness to travel and work at height.
• OSHA10, RF Awareness Training, First Aid/CPR trained; familiarity with tower rigging and testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist in construction, installation, and maintenance of towers and related telecom equipment.
• climbs towers up to 100 feet or more with load; ensure safety and compliance per COP/OSHA.
• Develop and follow detailed SOPs and Job Safety Analyses; mentor crew members.
• Troubleshoot RF systems, GPS antenna alignment, and antenna installations; manage tasks within budget and schedule.
