Job summary

The Save Mart Companies is recruiting a Senior Total Rewards Manager, based in Dublin, CA, to lead design, implementation and administration of compensation and benefits. You will manage the 401(k) plan, vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with ERISA, IRS, and DOL, while guiding pay structures and data integrity across the organization.

Reporting to the Director, Compensation & Records, with cross-functional influence across payroll and benefits, you will drive mergers and acquisitions

Qualifications

• 7+ years progressive experience in compensation and/or benefits, including program design and administration.
• Proven ability to manage 401(k) retirement plans end-to-end, with compliance knowledge (ERISA, IRS, DOL).
• Strong knowledge of job evaluation, market pricing, and pay equity analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of total rewards philosophy, guidelines, and policies.
• Manage 401(k) plan design, vendor relationships, and day-to-day administration.
• Oversee compensation projects such as salary structure, job architecture, and annual cycles.
• Perform market pricing, pay equity audits, and billing with vendors and legal teams.
• Collaborate with Payroll to ensure accurate funding of contributions and data integrity.
