Job summary

Patreon seeks a Senior Compensation leader in San Francisco, embracing a hybrid model with three days in-office weekly. You will shape compensation strategy, benchmark the market, and manage equity programs to attract and retain top talent.

You will partner with Finance, Legal, and Talent Acquisition to design total rewards, run planning cycles, and ensure governance and compliance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, finance, or related field.
• 7+ years in compensation with leadership experience.
• Experience with equity program management.
• Strong data analysis and use of compensation survey data.
• Excellent communication and meticulous work ethic.
• Knowledge of labor laws and compensation-related regulations.
• Proficiency with compensation software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute compensation strategy aligned with company goals.
• Conduct market benchmarking domestically and internationally.
• Design and enhance total rewards including base salary, variable pay, equity, and benefits.
• Oversee equity program design and spend; educate employees on equity.
• Manage compensation planning cycles and bonus payouts.
• Ensure data accuracy; develop insights via dashboards and reports.
• Collaborate with PBPs, Finance, Legal, and Talent Acquisition teams.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and governance; document policies.
• Communicate compensation philosophy and changes to employees.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members.
