Job summary

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking a Systems Administrator V to lead the Tools Support team within TIERS Operations. You will administer enterprise tools including SMA OpCon, Cognos, Informatica IIR, ALM, and Spectrum, while planning, analyzing requirements, and mentoring staff.

Responsibilities include server maintenance, backend SQL Server support, and coordinating with vendors to ensure reliability and continuity of business operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; work experience may substitute.
• Minimum 6–8 years IT experience maintaining computer programs and applications.
• Experience with Agile methodology and ITIL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide system administration for ALM, Informatica IIR, SMA OpCon, Cognos, and Spectrum tools.
• Install, patch, configure, and maintain backend SQL Server and server environments.
• Act as SME for ATI tools, coordinate with vendors, and mentor staff.
• Support and deploy TIERS releases across multiple environments.
• Prepare technical documentation and communicate impacts to stakeholders.
