Job summary

Five Star Plastics is looking for a Tool Maker to be the next great addition to our growing toolroom. This role offers a chance to work with high-precision CNC machining and mold construction in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will have experience in CNC machining, programing, blueprint reading, and knowledge of tool room equipment. A related associate degree and Journeyman license are preferred, with strong teamwork and troubleshooting abilities encouraged.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Machine Tooling Techniques or equivalent experience is required.
• Experience or knowledge of injection molds is a plus.
• Journeyman license is highly preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and operate shop equipment.
• Willingness to teach less experienced workers.

Responsibilities

• Drive construction of new molds.
• Maintain and repair current molds.
• Operate shop equipment proficiently.
• Read blueprints and troubleshoot tooling issues.
• Teach less experienced individuals and coordinate with tooling manager/designer.
