MARSHALLTOWN in Fayetteville, AR is seeking an experienced design engineer with 5+ years in hands-on design for tooling and fixtures. You will apply lean practices, support APQP/PPAP, and collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and quality to drive reliable tooling solutions.

You will lead prototype development, troubleshoot production issues, and advance manufacturability with advanced 3D CAD tools and DFMEA/DFM practices. Join a results-driven team focused on quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Mechanical preferred; transcripts may be requested.
• 5+ years of hands-on design engineering experience.
• Understanding of GD&T, DFM, and DFMEA/PFMEA.
• Proven ability to resolve complex engineering challenges.
• Experience in tooling and fixture design, automation, and machinery development.
• Strong familiarity with machinery's handbook and industry practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test tooling and fixtures for manufacturing processes.
• Optimize production through lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with shop floor, engineering, purchasing, and sales teams.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve equipment reliability.
• Participate in tooling procurement and vendor management.
• Ensure GD&T compliance and manufacturability standards.
