Job summary

BorgWarner is seeking a Senior Tooling Engineer to lead design, development, launch, and optimization of manufacturing tooling and related processes. You will coordinate with suppliers, project teams, and multiple engineering disciplines to ensure tooling is delivered on time and within budget, while meeting BorgWarner standards and safety requirements.

The role requires 5+ years of engineering experience and a track record of launching new equipment and tooling, with strong data-driven problem

Qualifications

• Engineering or Engineering Technology degree required.
• 5+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Experience launching new equipment and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with suppliers and project teams to ensure equipment and tooling is delivered on time, within budget and to BorgWarner standards.
• Improve tooling and processes; ensure compliance with BorgWarner build requirements and safety standards.
• Document tooling work, track tool life, ROMs, quotes, budgets, and performance data.
• Provide mentoring and technical direction to engineers and assigned personnel.
