Specify and prepare capital appropriations for process‑supporting equipment. Conceptualize and implement factory cost‑reduction projects for labor, material, and overhead savings. Continuously improve stamping process through quality methods. Develop and maintain supporting process documentation. Manage smooth incorporation of engineering changes into production. Design and establish work instructions per ISO requirements. Monitor systems regularly using key performance indicators such as OEE, equipment availability, and FPY. Drive and support improvement of first‑pass yield, final audit failure rates, and TCR. Design, evaluate, and improve safety and ergonomics of workstations and processes. Design, implement, and improve material handling systems in support of lean manufacturing principles using analysis techniques such as process flow charting and simplified handling analysis. Generate and implement cost‑saving ideas. Maintain data in automated systems on the production floor and ensure availability of parameters for engineering changes. Use data analysis/SPC to drive improvements. Incorporate lean manufacturing principles in all areas of responsibility. Create and evaluate a value stream map and design. Design and develop new equipment and fixturing to improve manufacturing operations. Lead continuous improvement projects within the factory. Study product requirements, design process/mathematical models to meet requirements and implement process changes.
