Job summary

SAAB seeks a Senior Tooling Engineer to lead tooling design, optimization, and lifecycle support for defense and aerospace systems. Translate product and manufacturing needs into safe, maintainable tooling for machining, composites, assembly and test.

You will collaborate with design engineering, operations, quality and suppliers in a regulated, safety-critical environment, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to automation roadmaps while ensuring Saab processes are followed.

Qualifications

• Develop and validate 3D models and drawings for tooling.
• Perform tolerance and structural analyses to ensure safety and reliability.
• Lead root-cause investigations and drive continuous improvement.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technology roadmaps.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace standards and Saab processes.
