Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Tool and Die Maker or related experience.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Experience working with close dimensional tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Construct, modify, and repair tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges.
• Set up and operate machine tools including lathes and milling machines.
• Review engineering specifications and technical drawings.

Skills

Strong machining experience

Ability to interpret engineering drawings

Strong mathematical skills including geometry and trigonometry

Proficiency using precision measuring instruments

Analytical and troubleshooting skills

Education

High school diploma or vocational school education

Completion of a Tool & Die apprenticeship program
