Qualifications

• Ability to use inspection instruments and precision measuring devices.
• Read and analyze complicated blueprints and drawings.
• Possess knowledge of shop practices and broad knowledge of metals.
• Ability to keep accurate inspection records.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and repair production tooling such as dies and fixtures.
• Sharpen dies, dimensionally adjust, and fabricate new punches.
• Construct or repair various fixtures such as mill and assembly fixtures.
• Understand tool steel heat treating processes.
