Job description

We are seeking an experienced ITS / Tolling Engineer to support the design, delivery, and execution of advanced transportation infrastructure projects throughout the Southeast.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering work related to ITS, tolling, traffic systems, and electrical infrastructure
• Support project delivery, scheduling, compliance, and technical execution
• Develop project documentation including take-offs, shop drawings, load calculations, test plans, and outage plans
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, estimates, and presentations
• Assist with RFP responses, proposals, and business development efforts
• Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and transportation agencies

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in ITS, tolling, traffic systems, or electrical engineering
• Experience supporting VDOT, municipal transportation agencies, or state DOT projects
• Strong knowledge of ITS systems design, tolling systems, smart mobility, and connected transportation technologies
• Proposal development and technical writing experience preferred
• Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills
