Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a civil engineering/planning professional to lead traffic revenue and demand modelling for toll facilities in the North Region. You will analyze large data sets, coordinate project technical content, and mentor junior staff while ensuring high quality deliverables.

The role requires a strong background in traffic engineering, planning, and related certifications, plus travel as needed. This position can be based in multiple North Region offices in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a related engineering/planning field.
• Professional certification or eligibility (AICP/PTP/PE/CEP or equivalent).
• Travel up to 10% may be required depending on project needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform traffic revenue and demand modelling for toll agencies in the North Region.
• Lead/participate in data analysis supporting highway planning projects.
• Manage project tasks, QA/QC, and coordinate technical content with clients.
• Mentor junior staff and ensure delivery quality across work products.
• Drive technical vision and ensure appropriate skill sets on the project.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban, Community or Regional Planning

Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Transportation, or related field

Certifications: AICP, PTP, PE, CEP or related
