Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a qualified transportation planner/engineer for our North Region in the United States. The role focuses on traffic revenue and demand modeling for toll facilities, with opportunities to lead projects and mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities include advanced data analysis of large datasets, ensuring technical accuracy, and coordinating project content with clients. Domestic/international travel may be required, and a relevant engineering or planning degree with certification

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban, Community or Regional Planning or related discipline.
• 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree or 9 years with Master's degree.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead traffic revenue and demand modeling projects for toll agencies.
• Perform traffic and revenue studies using socioeconomic data and demand modeling techniques.
• Coordinate project technical content and QA/QC procedures.
• Mentor junior staff and drive the technical vision with clients.
• Manage project tasks and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
