Job summary

SiTime Corporation in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a senior level customer engineer or system architect focused on datacenter, AI, and communications markets. You will own pre-sale and post-sale technical activities, develop design-wins, and translate customer needs into SiTime timing solutions.

The role emphasizes building deep customer relationships, solving timing challenges, and contributing to revenue growth through technical leadership, training regional teams, and influencing roadmap.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of applications and design engineering experience in datacenter, AI, networking or telecom.
• Proven track record of establishing deep technical relationships with system designs and architects.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to connect technical solutions to customer needs.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to debug and solve complex technical issues for customers in applications such as high speed SERDES, compute, and communication systems.
• Deep understanding of time synchronization architectures and systems.
• Knowledge of industry standards such as GR-1244, IEEE1588/PTP, NPT, GPS/GNSS, G.8262 preferred
• Hand-on experience with timing measurement instrumentation desirable

Responsibilities

• Establish deep technical relationships with assigned key customers including system architects and technical management, serving as trusted advisor on timing
• Own and deliver design-wins by working with regional sales to identify available design slots, architect SiTime solutions, and resolve all technical issues pre-sale and post-sale
• Drive solution selling via clock tree and architectural discussions within key application areas that benefit customers at the system level
• Create localized technical contents and training programs for regional sales team and channel partners, increasing sales effectiveness
• Be the customer voice, influencing SiTime roadmap and strategy in service of revenue growth
