Job summary

Qualifications

8+ years of TIG welding experience, with UHV welding standards.
Ability to read engineering blueprints, schematics and welding symbols.
Strong safety orientation and compliance with safety protocols.
Excellent communication and teamwork for mentoring and collaboration.

Responsibilities

Perform skilled TIG welding on Ultra High Vacuum components per blueprints and travelers.
Conduct leak detection tests to validate weld integrity.
Troubleshoot welding process issues to minimize disruptions and scrap.
Fabricate and repair weldments meeting specs and quality standards.
Collaborate with engineering to improve manufacturability and welding protocols.
Contribute to new product development by welding prototypes and providing feedback.
