Job summary

Optomi, in partnership with a leading technology service provider, seeks a Tier 3 Network Restoration Engineer to support enterprise customer networks. The role focuses on resolving high-priority incidents, restoring service quickly, and providing advanced support when escalated beyond lower-tier teams.

The ideal candidate will be independent, possess verified networking certifications, vendor-level experience, and demonstrate the ability to operate under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• CCNA or JNCIA certification and an additional vendor certification.
• At least one more networking/vendor certification from Cisco, Juniper, Meraki, Palo Alto, or similar provider.
• Hands-on experience in a high-volume, fast-paced network restoration or network ops environment.
• Strong troubleshooting experience with enterprise network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 3 network incidents, prioritizing tickets by severity and impact.
• Take ownership of P1 incidents during on-call rotations and drive issues to resolution.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and restoration activities across enterprise networks.
• Work independently to diagnose complex network issues and determine restoration paths.
• Coordinate with customer care, field operations, network engineering, and external vendors during critical incidents.
• Document troubleshooting activities and changes in ticketing systems.
